Wednesdays are definitely a favorite day here at Belle thanks to weddings like this timeless affair, courtesy of Alexandra Nanny Photography.
This gorgeous fete is beyond adorable and such a lovely reflection of the couple's personality and story. It's jam packed with inspiration and meaningful moments - their guests were greeted with creative details around each and every corner. From the first look session to the fruit of the spirit bar, it's all as adorable as they come! Wanna see what I mean? Check it out!
This lace bouquet wrap is just adorable.Loving the bridesmaids' hairstyles.
Following the tradition that the groom shouldn't see the bride until she walks down the aisle, Melissa and Cody shared a private moment to connect with emotionally. It was almost like a "first look" session, but without actually seeing each other. How cute is that?
A great alternative to the traditional signing book, a signing quilt.
The couple was big on collecting and receiving letters from each other throughout their relationship and had a "time capsule" lettering at the reception where guests could pick an anniversary (1 or 5) and write a word of encouragement for them to open on that anniversary date.
As a 5th grader, Melissa LOVED the fruit of the spirit and would pick
one out every week to display in her character. Since then, this verse
has stuck with her and has been embedded in her relationship with Cody.
Their desire is to show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control in their relationship towards
one another and others that cross their paths. They had mason jars with a
fruit bar for guests to fill as a favor of celebrating this special day
with them!
From the Photographer... Melissa and Cody are high school sweethearts and were married after 7
years of dating only each other. Their wedding was one to remember with
significant details to the couple that I've never seen anywhere else
before.
The ceremony took place at the private golf club, Escondido in
Horsehoebay Tx. The platform for the ceremony took place on the grand
staircase that overlooked the 18th hole. The grand entrance was
beautiful as Melissa entered from the top of the stairs and was the only
one to walk the top -down the entire evening. Everyone else entered
from the bottom up.
