{Engagement Session} : Pamela + Jose by Danny Cuevas

These simple and sweet photos prove that all you need for a fab collection of pics of you and your love-bucket is true love, perfect natural lighting, awesome locations and the talent of a photographer like Danny Cuevas behind the camera.
This engagement session was photographed in rural and urban areas of my beautiful hometown, Chihuahua, and it owns some unique touches that only a Mexican scenery could deliver. So I am pretty much thrilled to be sharing these images with you since they take me back to my teenage years. Not only because they showcase amazing places where I grew up, but also, because this gorgeous bride-to-be and I graduated from high-school together eleven years ago. I haven’t seen her since then, but I can tell by these photos that she’s very… very happy!

Vera Wang for David’s Bridal Bridesmaids Collection

After an embarrassing amount of time spent fawning over the images from Vera Wang for David’s Bridal Bridesmaids Collection, I have come to terms with the fact that I am completely in love with this wear-again dresses. I could spend 30 minutes explaining you the reasons why, but I don’t feel like I really have to, you know, Vera Wang is Vera Wang… In the name is the explanation. Kick your heels up and just soak up all of the prettiness!

{Real Wedding} : Brittney + Cody by Dawson Taylor studios

Could it get much cuter than this Nebraska wedding?  This rustic-loft fĂȘte literally took my breath away with all its sweet, DIY, vintage details. It’s got the crafty chic inside me jumping for joy.  I love the button-filled jars and, of course, the button bracelets.  They are petite displays of confectionary perfection! Who would of think buttons can be so captivating? Dawson Tayler Studios from Las Cruces NM captured this adorable couple and their equally adorable big day. A pretty soiree filled with buckets of charm.
From the photographer... I was blessed with travelling to Norfolk, NE with Cody and Brittney to capture the love on their wedding day. We spent our time with them in the small downtown area of Norfolk. The "first look" session was so precious. You could just feel the love between the couple the instant they saw each other. Tearing up, they both just held each other in awe that the day had actually come for them to become husband and wife. One of the reasons this day was so special is due to the fact that Cody and Brittney had been carrying on their relationships long-distance. Cody was living in Las Cruces, NM and Brittney was living in Lincoln, NE. This day was the start of their live together... living in the same city and in the same house. The reception was held at a rustic downtown building called "The Loft." Filled with beautiful lights and decor that Brittney designed herelf.  -Dawson

Dress of the Week

Hello Tuesday! I worship Tuesdays because I get to show you the most beautiful wedding dresses I found around the web. And, I can't wait for you to see this one.
I'm always in love with every Dress of the Week, but today's dress... today's dress is beyond-extraordinary. Under my eyes, this Manuel Mota has the perfect balance between glamour, femininity, sexiness and elegance, without lacking princess feeling that every bridal gown should have.
Curves and hips, symbols of femininity, are accentuated in this dress with rebrodé lace, swathed with double silk organza or glimpsed under guipure lace. Pure gorgeousness! Don't you think?

Beige cakes with white lace are so romantic. And what a bout laced mini-cakes? They make great features for dessert bars.

Silver lace add these plain white cakes a touch of shine and a more modern approach. What do you like better square or round shape?
As you can see in this image (left) lace cakes are perfect for rustic vintage weddings. If you are a classic bride, you'll love this embroiled and applique cake. It's my favorite of this collection... very romantic.
To make your cake match your color palette, consider to add tinted lace and accessories to a white cake (spotted here) or do a colored cake with white lace details.

Inspired your wedding cake on your wedding dress isn't only a hot trend, but also a beautiful way to add something sentimental. You don't believe me? Just take a look at this four beautiful cakes... (cake 1, cake 2, cake 3, cake 4)
