Happy Earth-Day! We’ve been chatting about eco-conscious and natural inspired weddings all week and I thought that the perfect follow-up would be this incredible nature centric e-session that one of our favorite photographers, Jessica Santiesteban from Ideology Photography, shot at one of the dearest places to me, Majalca, Mexico. It’s a little town close to my hometown Chihuahua, Mexico. During middle school and high school, we used to camp here or we stayed at my friend’s country-house. It was a safe haven to escape from the chaos of the city and be closer to nature. And that is exactly was this couple was aiming for, natural surroundings. The groom is an interior decorator, so the props and details are fabulous. And to make it even more extraordinary let me tell you that there is a tip-in. As you can see, this couple clearly knows how to have some fun and the fabulous work from Ideology Photography is the perfect compliment to their creative personalities.

Nature Inspired Wedding Dresses

This earth week I have found myself appreciating every detail of this beautiful place call Earth. And I guess I’m not alone on this nature crush mood since I found these ridiculously awesome wedding gowns inspired by no other than Mother Nature. All dresses were previewed in NYC Bridal Market and they belong to the Spring 2012 collections of three of the top bridal fashion designers. The following Vera Wang and Carolina Herrera gowns are beautiful, as you will see. But, Oscar de la Renta’s nature inspired wedding dresses are hands down the best.

This one is my favorite. It's like an eighteen hundreds gardening outfit. It's vintage, it's elegant and it's totally out of the box.

If the theme of your wedding is natured, but your style is classic, the top wedding dress is for you. I love the contrast between the modern yet elegant design and the hand-painted natural detail on the skirt. 
I’m so glad couture designers are making dresses for every kind of bride. This one is just ideal for the offbeat bohemian bride.
