{E-Session} : Christie + Chad by Ideology Photography

It seems that all of Ideology Photography’s couples are up for some great fun when it comes to their engagement shoots! Take Christie and Chad, for example ….. They didn’t have one, but two incredibly styled and marvelously themed engagement sessions. Here’s the beautiful first part.

You know I always say that inspiration is all around you! Couldn’t ask for a more perfect example. Chad is from New Orleans and Christie is from El Paso. So they decided to have a New Orleans meets El Paso type of e-session. And they couldn’t pick a better photographer for this challenge. Seriously talented, Jessica Santiesteban from Ideology Photography captured these dazzling images and I have to admit, I’m kind of obsessed. The bride-to-be is so beautiful, the photographs are extraordinary, the location is divine… it’s a pretty perfect package.

{Engagement Session} : Brooke + Travis by Dawson Taylor Studios

I knew the pecan tree farms around the Mesilla area where a beautiful location for e-sessions or wedding shoots, but this engagement shoot by Dawson Taylor Studios takes pecan tree backdrops to a whole new level. And quite frankly, I couldn’t expect anything less from the Dawson Taylor Studios team. They always do a great job not only shooting beautiful images, but also styling them to perfection. I’m just loving all the props, specially the pink parasol! And when you add to this equation totally adorable cowboy boots, well let’s just say I am in my blogging happy place. Approachable, light-hearted yet totally beautiful, this engagement session has it all.

{Engagement Inspiration} : Vintage Bikes - Part 1

Happy Monday! If you stopped by Belle last week, you may recall that charming pink bike I posted on Friday. Remember the photos on my Fabulous Friday posts are always clues of things coming up on the following week.

And here we’re already… So today, I’m starting of this week with some inspiration on my favorite accessories for e-sessions, vintage bikes. This fun elements give engagement shoots a colorful, romantic touch and a bit of excitement. The following images are so pretty that probably would get you encouragement to bring a pair of bicycles to your own engagement shoot. But, please remember that, the key-factor when incorporating vintage bikes into e-sessions is the color. In my humble opinion, pastels or bright hues work best!

{Engagement Session} : Stephanie + Chris by Wedding Xpressions

When I heard there was an engagement session shot at the War Eagles Air Museum waiting in my inbox – I couldn’t open it fast enough. When I saw that it was from Wedding Xpressions, some of my favorite El Paso photographers, I may or may not have let out a little gasp. I was instantly mesmerized with the vintage airplanes, the crazy gorgeous location and of course, the plethora of romance. In fact, I don’t think there is one little piece of this shoot that I’m not head over heels for. These images are passion galore with a special touch of vintage love. They look like they escaped from a movie... they kind of remind me of the film Pearl Harbor. I hope you enjoy them!
Ahhh… and make sure to stop by at the end of the post to read the romantic proposal story and some hints about the multicultural wedding this cool couple is planning.

{Engagement Session} : Nicole + Mando by Kendal Jessup

Let’s wrap up this wedding Wednesday with some cowboy love, shall we?  Kendal Jessup certainly worked her camera magic on this beautiful El Paso engagement session. I’m gonna quote Kendal on this one since she described this e-session so perfectly. This “shoot was filled with everything that makes my little Texas heart go pitter patter... west Texas, turquoise, cowboy hats, horses, the Texas sun, the purple glow of the Franklin mountains in the distance at sunset... need I go on?”

{Engagement Session} : Katie + David by Dawson Taylor Studios

Hello lovelies! I’m very excited to kick off the day with Katie and David’s beautiful engagement session on Zin Valle, which is probably one of my favorite locations for engagement shoots in el Paso TX and Las Cruces NM area. In my humble opinion, you definitely cannot go wrong with a summer winery e-session. The Southwest vibe combined with the sweet vineyard ambiance and the talent of Dawson Taylor Studios seems to be a recipe for perfection… I’m absolutely loving it.
