{Real Weddings} : Daniela + Jesus by Stephane Lemaire

After sharing with you so many beautiful boleros (part one and part two here) this week, what about starting this beautiful Thursday with a real bride rocking a real bolero in a real El Paso wedding? Sounds great, right? But, I got to admit that besides the pretty bolero, the adorable cake, the charming church and the lovely couple, what really got me about this wedding was the vintage red truck. Yes, the talented Stephane Lemaire took the whole wedding party to the desert where he photographed them next to a super cute vintage truck… oh, and a horse! It’s a southwest wedding extravaganza and you are invited!

Top It Up Pretty: Boleros - Part 2

A super easy way to accomplish that Kate Middleton look is wearing a bolero. Like I mention on the first part of Top it Up Pretty, boleros give you the ability to transform your wedding dress from conservative to sexy, without making the expense of buying two gowns.
Here is the second part of these Rosa Clara beauties. Enjoy!

{Engagement Session} : Angelica + Che by Kristen Swanson - Part2

I had no idea that a vintage themed engagement could be done so freaking gorgeously (is that a word?) until I met Kristen Swanson and the gorgeous bride to be Angelica Razo from Fiori Events. They have taken vintage to an entirely new style level. You might remember the first part of Angelica + Che engagement session? I know, right? Crazy gorgeous. Well, they have done it yet again and this time with a gorgeous 1930’s inspired e-session. Kristen just consistently knocks my socks off with one stunning affair after another, but this one… this one is just mind-blowing!

{Engagement Session} : Cristina + Jeff by Cristina Navarro

Devouring this little engagement session snapped to perfection by El Paso based photographer, Cristina Navarro, is like devouring a good romance novel. She followed these love birds to Brooklyn, New York and captured some insanely beautiful photographs. Romantic, ethereal, artistic. Images that you could easily hang on the walls of your home and without a doubt use as incredible inspiration for your own engagement portraits.

{Wedding Trends} : Cake Love

I love cake. Who doesn’t love cake? And it’s one of the central parts of a wedding. Full of tradition and cutting that wedding cake is one of the most photographed moments.    Image Source
Here are a few wedding cake trends I heart.
Lace... lovely lace. I've talked a lot about lace lately from wedding dresses to bouquets, but I never talked about lace cakes. I love them! So girly... so romantic... so elegant... so chic!    Image Source: left, right
Ombre, this is another trend I shared with you guys before (check out the fashion origins of this technique). I just couldn't resist showing you these beautiful cakes. The color detail is so settle....I love it! A little bit of ombre technique can takes any simple white cake to the next level. Don't you think?   Image Source: leftright
The royal wedding has been a huge influenced for the wedding industry. White icing cakes with British floral elements are so "in". And gold is just the color to go to accomplish a classic elegant look. Don't forget to stop by to see more cakes with luxurious details (click here)   Image Source: leftright
